k’s episode is on the way. I’ve just been flat out busy and haven’t had a chance to put it up. And I probably won’t get that chance until the weekend, so you’ll just have to hold on a little longer!
Life Beyond Earth Panel
On Friday 19th, Lucas and I will be at Federation Square in Melbourne to see a panel discussing the search for extra-terrestrial life. It looks to be a jam-packed, exciting event with video interviews from internationally renowned scientists and an eminent panel of experts. If you can, you should definitely come!

- Dr Rosemary Mardling, Monash University astronomer
- Dr Christopher Fluke, Swinburne University astrophysicist

- Mr Allen Sirota, robotics supervisor at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory
- Dr Mario Perez, NASA astrophysicist and planet hunter in Washington
- Professor Mark Sims, former mission manager of the European Space Agency’s Mars probe, the Beagle, and now astrobiology professor at UK’s Leicester University
- Dr David Patterson, CSIRO astrophysicist and citizen scientist with Planet Hunters
