My dentist tells me that my ‘rushed mad brushing before I go to work’ has caused an abrasion to the extent that I now have cavities.
As I’m rushing, apparently I brush in straight strokes, not gentle circles. As such the enamel on the root side of 3 of my teeth has a groove worn through it, caused by the brush and abrasive found in toothpaste.
Whilst brushing may be a good idea, over-zealous brushing can be a very bad thing.
